At the Good Shepherd we believe that special ministry for women is vital for healthy church life. We organise events to encourage women in their Christian lives. We also have two women's bible study groups, including Wednesday morning where a creche is provided. Sita Matthews is the leader of our women's ministry.
Throughout the year we organise special men's events to encourage men in their Christian lives. Some of these are social, some are bible teaching conferences. We have a men's breakfast group called which meets on Saturdays every second month.
Mixed Small Groups
Many of our members meet in small groups during the week to learn the bible and pray together. Some of these groups meet at the church, some in people's homes. Please contact us if you would like to join a small group.
Reflecting our diverse backgrounds the Good Shepherd has a variety of music groups who play music and sing together with a view to serving our congregations. We have a traditional choir on the first Sunday of the month at 8am, as well as more contemporary music groups at the other services. Anyone is welcome to offer to serve in one of our music groups.
